To honor Kareem’s contribution to the game and his 20 year career, Gartlan USA produced the “Skyhook Collection”. By 1989 he was the holder of 8 league records and was the only player to be named MVP six times. He was an NBA All-Star 18 years. A gold-rimmed 10¼” collectors plate, limited to 1989 (Kareem’s final year). It is personally autographed by Abdul-Jabbar and hand numbered. The artist was Michael J. Taylor. This plate was not issued with a certificate. The backstamp which contains all the information, including certification that this plate was personally autographed serves as the certificate.
